One Dollar College will help a graduating high school senior with a chance to attend a North Carolina college or university to pursue their dreams. By maintaining a 3.0 GPA, the Scholar will receive full tuition for up to 8 semesters to cover on-campus housing, meals, & books.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:

A United States Citizen
Current seniors attending North Carolina high school
Minimum high school grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.00-grade scale, excluding home school studies) and Minimum SAT score of 1300 (combined math essay and verbal score)
Applicants must have a submitted college application to a North Carolina post-secondary institution
Applicants must have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities
Monies will be distributed to school once proof of admission has be received by One Dollar College
Recommendations from a combination of at least three professional, team, church, community organization or similar must be submitted with application
Official high school transcripts must be received by One Dollar College no later than January 28.
Virtual interviews will occur in March.
Submit an essay (500 words or less).
